Abstract
We present an updated version (v1.1.10) of the Lagrangian Atmospheric Moisture and Heat Tracking (LATTIN) tool. LATTIN facilitates research on the hydrological cycle and extreme temperature events by tracing the origins of moisture and heat. This updated version includes the following new features: a Lagrangian precipitation estimation over the target region, a dry intrusion analysis, and a simple bias-correction method for moisture sources based on observed precipitation. Furthermore, we have also included a temperature anomaly decomposition approach. The data reading process has also significantly improved, including FLEXPART v11 outputs and LARA reanalysis compatibility, and parallelization strategies.
